FREE Child Care on Saturday Mornings!
It’s another rumor that sounds too good to be true. Nobody gives away free classes—but we covered that one already! And NOBODY gives away childcare for free. In fact, that typically requires a second mortgage on the house. But you already know we do things differently. So, this rumor is also true.
Why We Do It
We are so committed to getting you into the gym that we want to watch the kids while you do it. All for free. We have two Red Cross Babysitter’s (with First Aid) Course certified babysitters, one also happens to be a YMCA lifeguard and CPR certified as well. Every Saturday morning one or both are available to watch your kiddos for the hour that you attend class.
How It Works
You come in and work out with friends for free. Your kids get to play with games, toys, and each other. Best of all, you do it safely and separately for a whole 60 minutes. Better still, it’s done within sight of the class. They aren’t locked in some back room — instead, they get to see you be healthy, active, and set fun fitness standards. That’s a win in our book.
Guidelines for Parents
We do welcome all ages, however we ask that your child not require any diapering or bottle feeding in the 60 minutes they are in our care. We also request that snacks be limited or avoided, as we never know who will be joining us or what allergies may be present.
We also ask that your child be willing to be away from you for that period of time. We get it, sometimes you just need a break. However, if your child is prone to entering the workout space during class or being disruptive in general, we may discuss with you the need to keep them home instead. We want to stay committed to EVERYONE having an hour to work out and destress.
Before You Visit
We would appreciate a heads-up if you plan to join us on any given Saturday for class — and especially if you plan to bring a kiddo with you. If your child has any food allergies or health considerations, please make that information clear prior to the visit.
